Multi Arcade Game Emulator
MAME has built-in HotRod support. In
order to activate it, add -hotrodse to the command line, or edit
the mame.cfg file and replace hotrodse=0 by hotrodse=1. For mamew
users, replace hotrodse 0 by hotrodse 1 in the mamew.ini file
NOTE : built-in support since mame 0.35 beta xx

Final Burn emulates all pseudo-3D Sega hardware and Capcom CPS-2.
It has built-in HotRod Support, works great for everything but
3-D Sega games, you'll have to download my cfg
files to fix these. To activate HotRod support, launch
a games, click the input button and choose HotRod J1 on the bottom
menu then map this to a player ...

This Win32 emulator emulates greatly some Taito and Toaplan games.
Although it's nice and fast, it wasn't updated since 07/28/99,
so it can be considered as a dead emulator :(
It was one of the firsts emulators to have built-in HotRod Support.
HotRod is activated by default, no need to configure !

Callus 95 patch 2.4
The legendary Callus didn't have HotRod support. But, this authorized
patched version does ! However, it's discontinued. To activate
HotRod support, edit the callus95.ini file, and set hotrod_joystick=1
Surprisingly and despite being in early
has yet HotRod built-in support, except for coin keys. You'll
have to press either 5,6 or 7 to insert coins or use a key remapper
